The Friends of Hillcroft are a group of parents, carers and friends who raise money for the school to provide additional resources. We do this by organising a range of events throughout the year – such as the Christmas and Spring Fairs, uniform and Christmas jumper sales, discos and PJ and Popcorn afternoons for the children. We have also held bingo and quizzes for the adults. We try and make our activities fun and social.
Our fundraising has purchased amongst other things a library mural and furniture, books and book corner furniture for all classes, ipad stands, maths equipment, murals in the corridors, sports equipment, visiting reindeers, Internet safety sessions and an interactive bird nesting box. In December 2018 an all weather trim trail was installed which was funded solely by the Friends of Hillcroft. In 2021 we purchased 30 Chrome Books to enhance childrens' learning across the curriculum.
We are always looking for new volunteers to help out. There are many ways you can join in from running a stall at our fairs or discos, helping source raffle prizes or joining our committee which normally meets once or twice a term. However, you do not have to sit on the committee to help out.

To turn on Amazon Smile in the App
1. Download the newest version of Amazon App
2. Open the App and find settings in the main menu
3. Tap on ‘Amazon Smile’ and switch to on, checking Friends of Hillcroft is selected as your chosen charity and follow on screen instructions.
For App donations you need to renew them every 6 months to keep donating.
We have also just signed up to Give as You Live as well as Easy Fundraising – sign up and choose Friends of Hillcroft as your chosen charity.
